    • Total Vacancies: 75 (Statutory Positions: Registrar-1, Dean-1; Non-Teaching: Assistant Registrar-1; Teaching: Associate Professor-29, Assistant Professor-43)
    • Selection Procedure:
      • Direct recruitment based on merit through all-India advertisement.
      • Selection by duly constituted Selection Committees.
      • Screening of applications using post-wise Score-Card Guidelines.
      • Interviews conducted (ratio generally 1:20 max, 1:3 min), candidates must secure at least 60% in screening.
      • Weightage of score card and interview: 70:30 for Associate Professor and above; 80:20 for Assistant Professor.
      • University may adopt short-listing criteria based on higher qualifications, experience, or desirable qualifications.

    Educational Qualification

    RegistrarMaster’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent; at least 15 years of teaching or administrative experience in specified cadres, or 15 years of administrative experience with eight years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
    Dean, College of Veterinary & Animal ScienceRecognized veterinary qualification; B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks; Master’s and Doctorate degrees in relevant Veterinary disciplines; minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience with at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent; outstanding research contributions.
    Assistant RegistrarMaster’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and good academic record; experience as per desirable condition for service in administration/establishment in specified grades is preferred.
    Associate ProfessorDoctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences, eight years’ experience in relevant subject in specified pay bands, and contributions to research / teaching / extension evidenced by publications and innovations.
    Assistant ProfessorMaster’s degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent, with evidence of NET (ICAR-ASRB/UGC-CSIR), or Doctorate degree in relevant subject with two published research papers (NAAS rating above 4.0). For Veterinary disciplines: Recognized veterinary qualification under Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984, B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks, Master’s degree in relevant Veterinary discipline with at least 60% marks and NET, or Doctorate degree with two NAAS-rated research papers.

    Monthly Salary / Pay Scale

    • Registrar / Dean: Level 14 Per Month
    • Associate Professor: Level 13A Per Month
    • Assistant Professor: Level 10A Per Month
    • Assistant Registrar: Level 10 Per Month
    • Higher initial pay may be considered for exceptionally qualified and deserving candidates if recommended by the Selection Committee.
