Other Relevant Details

• Experience Required:
  • For Officer: Should have represented the country.
  • For Clerk: Should have represented the State in Junior / Senior Nationals / National games or been a member of the Combined Universities Team, or a member of the University team in an Inter university event (top three), or a member of the district team in an Inter district championship (first three).
• General Instructions:
  • Candidates must clearly indicate their choice of post (Officer/Clerk), which is irrevocable.
  • Eligibility will be assessed as on the specified date.
  • Appointees must be active and fit sportspersons at the time of appointment.
  • Applicants should verify all details before submission as no changes are allowed post-deadline.
  • A printout of the system-generated online application form and fee receipt is advised.
  • A valid and active email ID and mobile number are essential until results are declared.
  • Provision of false information or failure to meet eligibility criteria will lead to cancellation/termination of candidature/appointment.
  • The Bank's decision regarding eligibility, selection standards, vacancies, and results is final and binding.
  • Candidates must arrange their own travel and stay; however, eligible outstation SC/ST candidates may receive reimbursement for II class train/bus fare for interviews upon production of proof.
  • The Bank reserves the right not to select any candidate deemed unsuitable to strengthen its team.
  • All educational qualifications must be obtained from universities/institutions recognized by the Government of India.
  • Government/quasi-Government organization and public sector bank/undertaking employees need a "no objection certificate" from their employer at the time of interview.
  • Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
  • The Bank will not entertain requests for advice/clarification on eligibility from candidates.
  • Any resultant dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated in Chennai only.
  • Sportspersons currently under suspension or barred from playing by any regulatory authorities are not eligible to apply.
