Candidates should have MBBS with MPH, BDS with MPH or MD in Community Medicine. Minimum 2 years of experience in public health, including 1 year in a National Program at Government (National/State Level). At least one research paper published in a peer-reviewed journal in public health. Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good communication and presentation skills. Willingness to undertake field visits to States/UTs.

Other Relevant Details

Job Responsibilities for Consultant position:
- Provide technical assistance and programmatic support to the Central Leprosy Division for implementing NLEP interventions under NHM.
- Assist in creating operational and technical guidelines on thematic areas of NLEP.
- Prepare technical documents and review progress reports.
- Aid in the development of various documents for NLEP.
- Support the appraisal of State PIPs and compile quarterly/monthly reports for program planning, epidemiology evaluation, and national report preparation.
- Conduct periodic field visits to States/UTs to monitor progress.
- Coordinate with partners and State government counterparts.
- Assist in addressing policy-level issues and other high-priority tasks assigned by the Deputy Director General (Leprosy).
